Here's what the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge              offer vs. the competition

The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are Samsung's best smartphones ever, but how do they compare to the best smartphones out there?

Samsung isn't re-inventing the wheel here. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge sport similar designs to the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, but with more refined details. For instance, the curved edges on the backside of the Galaxy S7 and the softer metal frame on the S7 Edge make them easier to grip.

This year, the Galaxy S7 comes in two sizes. The smaller Galaxy S7 has a 5.1-inch flat screen and the Galaxy S7 Edge has a larger 5.5-inch screen with curved edges. The rest of the internals are identical — and the best of the best.

It's mighty impressive what Samsung has squeezed into these phones, but as we've said time and again, specs aren't everything. Still, if you must know, here's the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge pitted agains the Nexus 6P, iPhone 6S, Moto X Pure Edition and LG G5.
