Never Lose An Article Or Video Again With Pocket

Have you ever come across an interesting article you wanted to read, but were to busy at work at and eventually lost the article? I’ve done this countless times, but recently came across a Chrome/Firefox plugin that will stop that from ever happening again.

Dubbed Pocket (download here), this application will let you store articles, video, and other online resources for later when you have time to sit down and read articles or watch video.

So, how do you use Pocket? First you’ll need to download and install the Chrome plugin. Once installed, you should see an icon on the top right corner, where you might normally see your list of extensions. You’ll need to click the Pocket extension to do your initial sign-in and setup.

Once you’ve gotten past all of that, now you can simply go to an article, click the Pocket button, and it’ll save the article for later use (pictured above).

After you’ve saved an article, video, or even multiple articles and videos, you can head on over to www.getpocket.com, where you can find the list of resources you’ve saved.

It’s a very easy and simple tool, but one that’s proved to be extremely useful. And the best part? You can essentially access Pocket from anywhere. If you want, you can simply go to it in your desktop or mobile browser, but if you’re looking for some extra convenience, Pocket also offers a stellar iOS and Android application so that you can read your saved articles on the go!
